Situated on 218 acres along the North Shore of Gleniffer Lake with approximately 5000 feet of shoreline , the resort offers numerous recreational and social activities including a challenging 3300 yard 9 hole golf course that winds its way through the community and a 700 yard par 3 mini link course.The resort features a 13,000 square-foot clubhouse with a restaurant, lounge, fitness room and games room; an indoor heated pool with hot tub open year-round; and a outdoor heated pool overlooking the lake. In phase 6 there is a new 2nd outdoor pool and hot tub. The General Store carries many staple foods, a large variety of ice cream and candy, movie rentals, propane and more. There are tennis and basketball courts, as well as an area for beach volleyball. The roads are paved creating a smooth surface for cycling and in-line skating.The resort has a private boat launch, doc and marina. The lake has less traffic than most lakes in Alberta, so it is perfect for anyone who enjoys boating or sailing.
You could also try your luck fishing the lake for trout, pike and walleye, or travel just 5 minutes to the nearby Dickson trout pond, a managed lake stocked with rainbow trout. I have searched online for “recreational properties in Alberta”, and found nothing that compares to this. “Resort properties in Alberta are not common here, which is what makes this place very special. Even “RV parks in Alberta” are becoming non existent it seems. Gleniffer Lake, in my opinion is a great lake, with clear, deep water. It cannot get any better than a resort community, a lake community, a golf community, a social community, a gated community, a camp fire community, a place to relax, meet friends and get away from the city. GLENIFFER LAKE HAS ALL OF THIS.
